1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using WasteMrkt ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

WasteMrkt is a marketplace platform that connects customers seeking waste management services (including junk removal, dumpster rentals, bin cleaning, and related services) with verified service providers ("Providers").

WasteMrkt acts solely as a platform to facilitate connections between customers and Providers. We are not a party to any agreements between customers and Providers, and we do not provide waste management services directly.

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Account Types

Customer Accounts: For individuals and businesses seeking waste management services.

Provider Accounts: For licensed waste management service providers. Providers must meet our verification requirements and maintain valid licenses and insurance.

4. Provider Verification

Providers must submit documentation demonstrating:

  • Valid business license
  • Proof of insurance (general liability and workers compensation where applicable)
  • Any required permits or certifications for waste management services
  • Background checks as required by local regulations

While we verify Provider credentials, we do not guarantee the quality of services provided. Customers should review Provider ratings and reviews before booking.

5. Bookings and Payments

Service Requests

Customers may submit service requests through the platform. Providers may accept or decline requests at their discretion. A binding agreement is formed when a Provider accepts a request and the customer confirms the booking.

Pricing and Fees

Providers set their own pricing and keep 100% of their quoted price. All prices displayed include applicable taxes unless otherwise noted. An 8% service fee is charged to customers on each booking. Providers pay $0 platform fees to WasteMrkt.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through our payment partner (Stripe). By making a payment, you agree to the payment processor's terms of service. WasteMrkt is not responsible for payment processing errors.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual Providers and displayed at booking time. WasteMrkt facilitates refunds according to the Provider's stated policy.

In case of disputes, customers may contact support@wastemrkt.com. We will work with both parties to reach a fair resolution.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Attempt to circumvent platform fees by conducting transactions off-platform
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

8. Reviews and Ratings

Customers may leave reviews and ratings after service completion. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our content policy.

Providers may not offer incentives for positive reviews or retaliate against customers for negative reviews.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WasteMrkt and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant WasteMrkt a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

WasteMrkt acts as a marketplace platform only. We do not provide waste management services directly. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Providers
  • We are not liable for property damage, personal injury, or other damages arising from services
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Service agreements are between customers and Providers. Disputes should be resolved directly between these parties.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WasteMrkt, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Services provided or received through the platform

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Requests by law enforcement
  • Extended periods of inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.
